Koren Center – Where Reading And Learning Become A Positive Experience!

In Koren Centers one improves understanding, writing and reading in both Hebrew and English. The learning process provides the students with language enrichment, new language skills and self confidence in both articulation and reading.

Dyslexic And Regular Readers of All Ages – Learn In Personalized Audio Centers

The Koren Centers were founded 20 years ago by Dr. Sari Shneider (Ph.d) and work within branches in Givatyim, Netanya and Kiryat – Motzkin. The learning takes place in personalized audio centers, using headphones and listening to a narrator, much like an audio-lingual laboratory.

The Koren Centers method is innovative and pioneering, based on natural sound and tone skills, and has especially high success rates. This unique method was developed in France, and is applied and used worldwide.

Who Is It Suitable For?

The Koren Center learning method is suitable for children, teenagers and adults, regular readers, dyslexic individuals, and individuals with learning disabilities. The learning enables the learners to experience success and personal progress as well as override fears and mental blocks that concern reading. The learning process includes continuous professional supervision and a close family guidance concerning the learner and his/her specific needs.

The Learning Process-

The learning process begins with an introduction meeting in which the course of the treatment is being determined, following the learner's specific needs and professional assessments . The meeting is held in a friendly and supportive environment and encompasses a wide spectrum of solutions and relevant suggestions.

The learning process takes place in the personal audio center; the students

enter the audio center, wear headphones and listen to special frequency sounds ("parametric sound") or to narration. Following that, the students are required to repeat what they hear, while listening to themselves in a closed circuit, and receiving instant feedback on their performance. The results are soon to come: the students improve their reading and language skills, expand their vocabulary and  improve their  memory retrieval ability.
